Firstly we wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
Thank you to all the people who have supported us over this VERY TRYING year, it has really been one to happily say FAREWELL to.
This last 2 months have been very busy for us, and we have gotten really far behind with the jobs that you have asked us to do. But do not fear, Rome wasn’t built in a day and most of the jobs have been started and are progressing.
2021 was a successful year for us, with Firewood sales and Street/House numbering being completed.
The money promised to us by the Labour candidate, Cherie Sibosado has been used to purchase some much needed equipment to make our lives safer and more bearable . Some of this gear is a Drum Sander, Trailer, Hoist and Big Chain Saw, Sand Blasting Cabinet and a few other smaller items. Earlier this year we were given a Partly built Gas Barbeque, which we completed and then swapped this for a Milling Machine, so now most branches of our activities are serviced with good equipment.
Some of the jobs almost finished are a new Blackboard for the front of the School, some Library Book Boxes for the kids at the Library, and more crates for the Old Bastards and RSL for can collection.
The Blackboard look good and should be installed the day after school breaks up. Two little girls are also going to have a lovely Christmas with these boxes to keep their treasures in.
A Special Thank You to our local Tradie, Frank, who keeps arriving at the shed with a trailer full of wrecked wood from sheds and houses that were damaged or destroyed in Seroja.
